Position Summary

Customer Focus Agent

1x Fixed Term Full Time (until June 2021)

1x Fixed Term Part Time  - 20 hours per week (until August 2021)

We are looking for high performing, results-focused individuals to work in our Contact Centre and Front Counter located in Morwell. You will be the first point of contact for all customer calls, providing an excellent level of service that exceeds expectations by successfully handling all customer enquiries. Duties include; providing timely and accurate information, generating and managing customer requests and proactively promoting Council Services to all of our customers.  

You will be provided with comprehensive systems and product training to support you in this key role. This customer focused role is an excellent opportunity for the right person to launch a long and rewarding career with one of the largest employers.  

The successful candidate will: 

  • demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills;
  • have a confident yet friendly telephone and face to face communication style;
  • be a self-motivated individual who is able to work within a cohesive team environment;
  • ideally have previous experience working within a customer service environment;
  • have proficient data entry skills;
  • be able to demonstrate intermediate computer skills; and    
  • be available to work flexible hours between Monday - Friday, 8:30am – 5:15pm
