Latrobe City Council is an innovative and progressive organisation that is focussed on delivering first class services to its community.

About the role

This new role involves project delivery of operational components for the Latrobe Creative Precinct, a major cultural infrastructure project encompassing a new state of the art Performing Arts Centre, indoor and outdoor event and meeting spaces and a repurposed arts industry training and education centre scheduled for completion in early 2021.

With the Latrobe Creative Precinct build about to commence, this important role will take responsibility for a number of key strategic initiatives and operational deliverables. The most prominent being:

  • Delivery of a sponsorship and fundraising campaign, securing corporate partners and working with the community on fundraising.
  • Contributing to securing programming and bookings for performance spaces and meeting rooms scheduled from the opening of the precinct.

The ideal candidate will have had exposure to the Cultural, Arts and/or Events industry and wide-ranging experience in project management, stakeholder engagement, venue management and sponsorship.
